Basic Bookmaking
This is a 4 hour class perfect for beginners wanting to learn a large variety of basic handmade bookmaking skills.
While constructing several small books, you will learn folding, glueing, and sewing techniques. The first books will be made with scraps and magazines while learning the process, in the end you will make a larger book with multiple signatures and a hard cover - I will provide better papers to choose from for this last book. Below, you can see samples of some of the types of books you will learn to make.

The class is taught in my home studio in Washington, DC.
