Extended Bookmaking
This is an 8 hour class split up into 2 or 3 days of instruction. Good for anyone wanting to learn a large variety of handmade bookmaking skills.
While constructing several small books, you will learn folding, glueing, and sewing techniques. The first books will be made with scraps and magazines while learning the process.
Once comfortable with folding and glueing, you will learn many different binding techniques and ways to make covers. And the last project will be a box to fit one of your books.
I will provide everything needed, from the scrap papers you will begin with to the handmade papers and good quality drawing paper to make your final projects.
